An eventful May

In May, Ihle Motorsport will again be on site at two rallies.

From 12-14 May, the team and driver Achim Mörtl will compete in the 13th Karawanken Classic. The 3-time Austrian national champion will be driving an Opel Manta 400 RM 16.

Just one week later, Ihle Motorsport is invited to the official celebration of “50 years of World Rally Championship” at the WRC Rally Portugal from 18-22 May. The driver will be Walter Röhrl in the Opel Ascona 400 RA 48. As a reminder, Röhrl already drove this car in the 1982 San Remo Rally and finished 3rd at that time. Later that year he became world champion for the second time – also thanks to his third place in the Opel Ascona 400.
